The project involved the planning and master planning of a new 'settlement' on a coastal site in Argyll. The brownfield site was previously used to build oil rigs, and was ideal for regeneration into a mixed-use community site.
The new town was created using the typical vernacular and architectural features of fishing villages found on the west coast of Scotland.
Mixed development of housing, retail/leisure facilities, jetty and moorings, hotel and shops, 250-300 homes, housing between 750 and 1,000 people, 26 acres.
